Andrea Devoti, Executive Director of NHA, was elected secretary of NAHHC (National Association for Homecare and Hospice) and president-elect for PHA (Pennsylvania Homecare Association).
NHA Employee Receives Russell R. Tyson Award of Hope
Ms. Owen received the award in acknowledgement of her outstanding work with people in the community who have cancer, as well as her groundbreaking leadership in opening the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit, the first free-standing hospice inpatient unit in Chester County.
A registered nurse since 1986, Ms. Owen has been with NHA since 1994. She holds a BSN degree from Radford University in Virginia. Ms. Owen has more than 15 years of experience in hospice care, as well as extensive experience in critical care, trauma, emergency room, and open heart surgery. She is a board member of the Pennsylvania Hospice Network, and a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
